Description of service
I was involved with a minor fender bender. It wasn't my fault. I had some medical bills, including a trip to the emergency room to be checked out. I was instructed to call the other person's insurance company myself and file a claim with their insurance company. I was uncomforable doing that and decided I should get an attorney. I didn't want any extra money, I just wanted my medical bills paid. I got the name from a TV ad and I was not very happy with them.
Review of Service
It usually took them several days to return my phone calls. Their ad guaranteed that all calls would be returned within twenty-four hours. When I did get a call back, I always talked to a different person. I think I should have been assigned one attorney and only dealt with that one attorney. They pushed me to sue for more, but all I wanted was my medical bills paid. I finally did what they wanted and the ordeal took two years. I was hounded by the medical creditors, even though I kept referring them to my attorney - but the calls kept coming.
Tips
Don't use someone you don't know. Ask your friends, neighbors, co-workers. Find someone who has had a similar experience and let them recommend an attorney. Be clear with your attorney what your wishes are. Don't let them talk you into something you don't want to do.
