Description of service
Our doggies needed baths, grooming, and nail care. They hadn't been groomed for a couple of months, and wet sammy hair in the winter time is a very bad thing. We brush them regularly at home, but they needed a seriously good cleaning.
Review of Service
They got a seriously good cleaning. What's more, our youngest dog, who is three, is usually traumatized by a visit to the groomer's. He hates having a bath; however, he behaved amazingly well, and we were very pleased with the service. They did a good job; both our doggies were clean and finally smelled good again. Even more amazing was the price; we rarely find someone willing to groom a sammy for less than 70 dollars. To have it done so well, and so inexpensively, was amazing.
Tips
1. Make sure the groomer is experienced, and is comfortable handling your animal. Grooming is a traumatic experience for some animals, and they can be really upset by a careless groomer.
2. Make sure you know exactly what price you will be expected to pay, and what services are included in the price.
3. Check around - ask people who grooms their dogs; this is often a good referral source, especially when you are new to town.
