the Price of Dog Grooming at a Local Groomer

I had my german shepherd groomed for $45. It was $40 for the grooming and $5 for the tip. The service included a bath, a hot oil treatment, ear cleaning, nail trim and filing.

The service was excellent. The staff was professional and did a fantastic job. I dropped him off in the morning and picked him up in the afternoon. His coat was soft and shiny and they did a great job on his nails and ears. They also gave him a rawhide bone on our way out. It was a small establishment so I got personal service. The place was very clean and they had all sorts of home made goodies you could buy for your pet that were packaged beautifully. They were great with the pets too. It was a family business which is always a nice touch. The hot oil treatment was included with the bath, nails and ears and was fantastic. It kept his coat soft for weeks and he was a lot less itchy than he usually is in the winter. Overall a fantastic experience.

Definately go to a smaller establishment rather than a chain. The service is much more personable at the same price. It's also more comfortable for your pet. I wish I had known about the place sooner because I would have been going there for the last three years instead of the larger pet stores that offer grooming.
