Review of Service
Beginning yoga classes are as far as I can go. I have tried to follow some beginning yoga on t.v. shows, but I end up falling over or not properly performing the yoga poses. The classes are great because the instructors are able to give some one on one tips and advice for how to properly assume some of the basic poses in yoga, as well as tips and tricks to make poses easier or more challenging, wherever my skill level lies. It is an hour long on Saturday mornings for beginners, and while many times I end up feeling foolish, or like my body isn't meant to move in certain ways, I always feel better after a class when I realize I didn't look as foolish as I felt! It certainly forces me to use and engage muscles I don't typically engage, so I am pretty sore after each session, but overall, it is a great, healthy way to start my weekend!
Tips
Don't be afraid to perform certain movements and poses because you are afraid you may look dumb--nobody looks fantastic when doing downward dog! Wear comfortable clothes, and just give it a try. It is a lot of fun, and you will feel refreshed and restored after your sessions.
