the Cost of Wedding Photographers

My best friend got married last summer. I, as his best man, agreed to help him find a photographer for the ceremony. I live just outside of Los Angeles and the ceremony was being held about four hours away in a small beach town called Pismo Beach. I called some local hotels, reception halls and churches seeking referrals for local photographers. I looked at online portfolios and read resumes. Finally, my girlfriend told me about a photography company in Culver City, CA. They sent two photographers for the same price as other, single photographers.

These guys were great. They took amazing photos and, since there were two of them, they didn't miss a thing. One photographer stayed with the bride and her bride's maids and photographed them getting ready while the other went with the groom and the rest of us to shoot us preparing. They stood on seperate ends of the church to get multiple angles of the same moments. The wedding party went out after the ceremony and they took all the pictures the family wanted.

I suggest taking a good look at the photographer's portfolio and asking them how much of the images have been Photoshopped. I found out from these guys that it's better to enahnce a beautiful picture with Photoshop than it is to try and make an ugly picture more appealing.
