the Cost of Wedding Photographers

This included a photo shoot for the actual wedding, no pictures were taken during the actual ceremony. It didn't include any reception shoots or any photos during the dinner the week before the wedding. There was no tipping involved in the service.

Overall the photographer wasn't that impressive, she simply shot a few photos immediately following the ceremony. She didn't have anything other than just a Digital Camera, she explained that her other camera was broken. The photos were extrememly dark (due to the Cathedral being very dark). There was a fifteen minute shoot immediately following the wedding and then the happy couple had to exit the church numerous times to get a picture outside of the church. It took almost six weeks to get the photos back, which were not as good as some of the photos taken by family members. Several people actually told the bride how badly their experiences were with the photographer after the wedding ceremony, but it was too late to change mid stream. It was probably the worst experience of our lives as well.

While we didn't know much about the photographer, she was picked by the bride. The bride was extremely upset about the photos, but was rightfully upset with herself.
