Description of service
I paid 250 total for two hours of photos taken at my ceremony only. The 250 covered her being at the church for 30 mins prior to the ceremony to take pics of getting ready, etc. And taking photos during and after the ceremony of family and group shots. I had no photos developed, instead I got all of them on a cd, and later had ones printed up that I wanted.
Review of Service
My photographer was prompt, and arrived 30 mins prior to the service. She took photos of both the groom and bride's partys as we got ready. She was very good at organizing photos and telling everyone where to stand, as well as taking candid shots. During the ceremony she took photos of each person coming down the isle as well as several of everyone at the alter. After the service she organized the familys into group shots, and again took some candid of the guests.
Tips
Getting a photographer doesn't have to be expensive. One great tip is to only have the photographer at the ceremony, have your guests take photos of the reception, it worked out great for us. Another is to not have your photographer print out the photos, expecially in this age of ditial photography. Just get all your pictures on a cd and then you can have them printed up on your own for cheap, at local drugstores or over the internet.
