Description of service
I took a 2 night 3 day tour by bus from Chicago to The Wisconsin Dells. The package included a chartered bus from Chicago to the Dells, hotel for two nights, 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 1 dinner. We ended up not using 1 of the free lunches or the dinner and elected to buy our own food. It also included a ticket to one attraction, we chose the Ducks.
Review of Service
It was a decent trip. The bus driver drove us around the Dells when we arrived and told us a little bit about the history and what kinds of things there were to do in the area. Our hotel was in a nice part of town and very close to everything. There were tours through the Dells both days where you could go with the tour group and check out the attractions according to a very specific itinerary. We did this the first day and we found the pace to be a little bit too fast for us. The 2nd day we went off on our own so we could go at our own pace and check some things out on our own.
Tips
The included meals were not very good. I would recommend, if you have the option, choosing to just go ahead and pay for your own meals so you have more control over it.
