Description of service
A three-night round-trip bus trip from Tampa, FL to Biloxi, Mississippi. It includes bus and motel. When you get to Biloxi, you get $100 in script for the casino. What a deal - you actually could come out ahead and get a trip for free. Apparently it's sponsored by the casino and it must work out for them or they wouldn't be doing this!
Review of Service
The bus was full, mostly of retired people. Many on the bus were repeat customers.
The bus was on time and immaculate. The air conditioner worked perfectly and the seats were big with a lot of legroom.
The driver was excellent - professional and helpful with our questions.
There was a tour guide who was full of information and funny jokes. We played games on the bus and won prizes. I chose to read and listen to music and that was okay too.
The only problem is that there are not a lot of casinos rebuilt after Katrina, so you are pretty much limited to the casino that sponsors the bus trip.
I am a very disciplined gambler - I came home with $500 more than what I left with.
I want to go again - what a great getaway for a cheap price - actually free !!
Tips
Book early - the buses fill up fast. However, they usually have one trip every month.
Don't pack very much - pack casual clothes.
It's a good trip to go on alone; I did and made new friends. The bus company is very protective and it's a very safe way to travel alone.
