Description of service
I had a satellite radio system installed in my car. This installation included installation of the receiver, the wires, and the hardware that came with the system. The installers were to hide the wires so that they were not visible, as well as make the receiver itself easily accesible from both the drivers seat and the passengers seat.
Review of Service
On a scale of 1-10, I would probably rate my experience with the installation of my Satallite Radio Receiver as a 7. The installation itself did not take very long. I dropped my car off and was able to pick it up approximately two hours later. The installers did not damage my vehicle or mess it up. However, I was a bit displeased with the quality of the adhesive used to attach the receive to my dash, as it fell off not long after. And after I reattached it, it would only stay on the dash for a few days before falling off again. Also, I was not happy that some of the wires coming from the dash were exposed more than I feel they should have been.
Tips
Go to a reputable installer who does this sort of thing on a day to day basis. Don't trust a friend to do it just because they say they can! Also, don't just use a particular installer because they are the cheapest. With this type of service, you tend to receive quality of work comparable to what you pay.
