Description of service
i decided to get my car installed with a new audio system (SONY). it consisted of 4 new speakers, and an in dash 6 CD, CD changer and a sub (to be installed in the trunk). i was quoted $230 for everything. i had it done @ a local flea market. i tipped the guy who did the installation $20 because he did a very good job and made the wires hidden so it looked professionally done
Review of Service
unfortunately the cd changer broke a few days later (it wouldnt eject the cds anymore) so i brought it back to the guy who installed it and so he tried to repair the cd changer but it wouldnt work still. so finally he swapped it out and replaced it with a brand new one at no extra cost to me. so all in all the whole installation and repair process cost me $250 plus all the gas (which is NOT cheap) there and back, so i probably paid about $300 total. at least i wasnt charged when i had to get the cd changer fixed, thank god!
Tips
make sure you get whats installed THOROUGHLY tested before you leave. that really sucks when you get home and it stops working!
