Description of service
Installation of a (pre-purchased) stereo system into my vehicle including wiring of speakers. Price includes wire to run to the speakers, and ties to hold everything in place, and everything in order to make my new radio work in an older model vehicle. Also, the price included teaching me how to use my new product.
Review of Service
Installation of my audio system id not take more than an hour and a half to install and test. I had an older model car, so extra work was required for compatibility. Company did try to push "upgrades" on me, but I declined them. Audio worked perfect after installation. Very happy with the end result.
Tips
Call around, if you have a pre-purchased item, installation is usually cheap. Do not let the installer pressure you into upgrades that you do not want. Be firm. Try to find a company that has a flat rate for installation, opposed to an hourly rate. Installation of a stereo should not take long, but the hourly rates are usually more than the standard flat rates. Companies should offer the cords and/or wire in the cost of installation so that you are not paying extra fees for the items.
