Description of service
We have a dog. Our dog loves our carpet, but sometimes he gets sick, and rarely he has an accident. Occasionally we find it best to hire a professional to come in and clean the carpet.
Review of Service
We hired an independent carpet cleaner. He did a fairly good job, and the rate was reasonable. He was fairly friendly and personable. We had used him in the past. I was quite offended, however, when he left a note on the bill that the carpets had been very dirty that day (why did he think we had called him?) It was January, and after months of tracking in dirt and snow and sammy fur, it was time to get the carpets cleaned. I think the note on the bill was completely unncessary, and I won't call him again.
Tips
1. Make sure the person you are allowing into your home or business is reliable and reputable; some companies even bond their employees to ensure this.
2. Ask around; sometimes certain carpet companies offer great deals, and you can save a lot of money. Be careful of someone who is much less expensive than the competition, however; there is usually a good reason for this.
