the Cost of Carpet Cleaning

The company came to my home and cleaned two 5 x 8 oriental type rugs that we have. There were no visible stains, just a little bit of a worn odor. We just wanted to maintain them. They were able to come and do the cleaning the same week that we called to schedule an appointment. The company uses a "green" method, one that is non-toxic and safe for children and dogs, one of the latter which we have.

Overall, we were happy. We especially liked that the company uses environmentally and pet friendly cleaning products. Many cleaners do not do this. The people who came to do the cleaning were friendly enough. They did a good job with the rug. They vacuumed the rugs, then cleaned them with a machine. They also did something to remove some of the moisture because when they left, the rugs were barely damp but definitely not wet. The rugs definitely looked clean and bright. More importantly, they smelled clean. They had begun to smell a little bit like our dog and the cleaning got all of these smells out.

Call around and ask if companies use a green cleaner. Also, if you have children or pets, make sure that the company's methods are safe.
