the Price of Carpet Installation

We had carpeting installed in our home in the living room, and 2 small bedrooms. The price includes instillation, all fees, and the materials. We got a really good deal, considering the berber carpet we got is normally really expensive.

We scheduled the carpet instillation about a week ahead of time so we had time to prepare. The night before the instillation we had to remove all the furniture and our belongings from the 3 rooms, which was a big hassle. The installers also arrived an hour later than we had scheduled. About 30 minutes after they were scheduled to arrive we called to make sure they were coming. I was furius with how disrespectful and late they were. After they arrived, the instillation took just a few hours.

The best tip I have is to price hunt all you can, and schedule at least a week in advance. Many times the installers will be previously scheduled for the day you want if you do not schedule far enough in advance. Also, after my experience, I recommend calling the day of the instillation to make sure they will not be late, and everything is going according to plan. Also, move your furniture and belongings before the day they get there so you will already be prepared.
