Description of service
I bring my cat into a nationwide groomer to get his nails clipped. Naturally cats HATE grooming salons because of the blow dryer, dogs barking and assorted noises. Well, when I walk him in/carry him in...the groomer attempts to clip his nails. I had specially told the groomer that he needed two people to hold my cat while his nails were to be trimmed.
They do the job and then stop. I pay for the service and go home. I realize that his nails weren't completely done. I call the groomer and ask him why the cats nails were half done. He said my cat was bad and that he thought he knew cats. I complain to the headquarters of this company telling them everything they told me about my cat and his nails not being completed. I also told the headquarters how this groomer thought he could handle my 15 lb cat by himself. I was appologized and rewarded with a gift certificate but I hate it when groomers don't listen to the owners. We tell them things for a reason!
Review of Service
The service was NOT that great. The groomer disobeyed me and didn't listen to what I was telling him and then he told me my cat was bad? What kind of groomer tells that to a pet owner??
Well I now do my own cats nails with the help of a friend. Something I should have done long ago!! My cat doesn't need this type of dispair and neither does the owner!
Tips
Tip for the groomer..listen to the owner!!!! If a dog owner says it bites...put a muzzle on it...if a cat owner says my cat is skittish...have control over the situation!
