Description of service
Cat grooming services include bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming and teeth brushing if the cat will alow it. Long hair cats are often shaved down. This can be due to matting or to reduce the amount of cat hair in your home. All these services including shaving were performed during our visit. Optional services include painting of the cat's tonails or installation of soft claw covers to prevent scratching.
Review of Service
Drop off was early in the day. Groomers like to get an early start to allow plenty of time for the cat to be fully dry when it is picked up. The facility was neat. Cat and dog cage areas were separate. Our cat was ready for pick up before the promised time so the groomer called to let us know she was ready. Our cat looked and smelt good. Her shave was even with no long spots or bare areas. Her nails were clipped short but no so short that they would bleed. She did not seem unduely stressed by the grooming.
Tips
Try to visit the grooming salon with out your pet to talk with the groomer. Some salons do not handle cats. Ask the groomer about their back ground and how many cats they groom per week.
