Description of service
We took our daughter to a ceramic class that was especially for kids. The $25 included the cost of the actual piece she got to pick out to paint, all of the paint, the firing of the piece, and a snack and drink.
Review of Service
It was really neat. It was a great class. The instructor showed the group of kids how to use the different paints. Some of the paints would turned out raised or cracked after heated in the kiln. She showed them how to put the appropriate amount of paint on their brushes so that they could pain their pieces. They served them a snack of pudding, cookies, and milk. She enlisted the kids help in the cleanup. We were told their finished pieces would be ready for pickup within one week, and that was an accurate time frame. We were just really happy with the class.
Tips
If you would like your child to take a ceramics class, you should try to find a place that specializes in kids. It is a nice touch if a snack is included. You should find out if you have to have a minimum number of kids to participate and if you get a group discount.
