Description of service
For $50, I was able to sign my son up for a 4 week session of pottery classes. Each class had a different theme, and the child was able to make something out of clay to bring home. The price included 4 classes, an hour each (once a week) plus all materials used in the class. The only things not provided were smocks (to stay clean).
Review of Service
The service we received was wonderful. They only took a limited number of students, so that the teacher wouldn't be overwhelmed. One of the things I truly loved was the parents were allowed to stay, so the teacher would show us (the parents) what we could do to help. The kids really seemed to enjoy it, and now I have some very unique artwork for my home. The only thing I would have changed was I probably would have limited it to less students, the classes did get rather crowded. That aside, it was a wonderful time, and a great price!
Tips
Always call around, get prices. A lot of local art stores (I'm not sure about Big Box stores) offer classes for kids at a very reasonable price. Always check your community education fliers, there's often great deals on kid's art classes in there too.
