Description of service
My 10 year old son was looking for something to do during the summer instead of watching TV and laying around the house. A few of his friends from school told him about a place that was not to far from the school that offered pottery classes to young children. I went ahead and took my son there so he was able to see what it was he would be doing. The classes was $25 a month which the whole three months was $75 but he got to make a dinosaur and a plate, bowl and cup set. He made his grandparents a ashtray and a vase and a rose for me. He went every Tuesday for a hour in a half and always came home messy.
Review of Service
My son loved it there. He was able to use his hands and his mind to express things. He was very happy with what he made and wanted to show it off all the time. The studio was very large and had lots of room for the children to work where they wanted. She was very sweet to the children and helpful when they needed it. I was happy to see that my son was able to open up and express himself in so many different ways.
Tips
There are lots of places that offer summer classes or year round classes for children just look in your local phone book or online for pottery classes. Once you find them call a few places to see what they offer in their classes and what the prices are and if you will have to pay for anything extra. Some offer the classes but then you have to pay for the clay and paint.
