Description of service
I have been receiving chiropractic adjustments and exercise therapy for about seven years from the chiropractic college in my city. This was recommended to me by a chiropractor that I had been going to, but became unable to afford any longer. I have tried many (too many to list here)different types of adjustments to find what works best for me, and learned what works and what doesn't. The facility that I use also has a well equipped exercise room that has been invaluable.
Review of Service
The service that I have received has been exemplary. Since you are seen by interns, there is the inconvenience of having to get a new practitioner when the present one graduates, and sometimes it can take two or three visits before you work well together. This is a minor problem, because you usually get to keep your intern for about a year. And there are several full doctors available at all times. This is something I would recommend to anyone who is fortunate enough to live in a city that has a chiropractic college.
Tips
I think the only tip would be the same thing the doctor would tell you. You have to stick with it. This is something that should be undertaken on a regular basis, even if regular in your case means 4 times a year. Do it. Don't wait until you can't move your neck or back and go in hoping for an instant fix.
