I had an adjustment from a chiropractic student. The total appointment with waiting time took about 2 hours.
Review of Service
Even though this was cheap I don't think it was worth the money I saved. The student who adjusted me must have been very new to working on real patients. In fact, I got the impression I might have been their first client ever. They had to leave the room several times, I assume to get help, and eventually their supervisor came in and finished the adjustment. When I got there I ended up having to wait almost 45 minutes for my appointment. I was told repeatedly it would be just a few minutes. I'm not sure what was going on but there was plenty of stuff I could have done in the area for 45 minutes if I'd known how long the wait was going to be. This place really didn't seem to have their stuff together.
Tips
Unless you know of a great school with really advanced students it'll probably be worth your while to go to a professional. Call before your appointment to find out if they are running behind so you can try to avoid sitting in a waiting room for 45 minutes.
