Description of service
I received a chiropractic adjustment at a chiropractic school. The staff there assured me that they did not allow students to service clients until the staff had thoroughly tested them and made sure they were capable of providing proper services. The student services were a great way to save money.
Review of Service
The student seemed very nervous at first. Once he made the first adjustment and everything seemed ok, he began to relax. The service was just as good as at a fully certified chiropractors office. The only difference was the price. Just like at my regular chiropractors office, moist heat was applied to my neck and back for more than ten minutes before I was brought into the adjustment room. I only waited minute or two before the student came into the room to begin the adjustment. The student did a very thorough job since he was still learning so he wanted to try as much as he could think of. That was actually better for me.
Tips
Try to find a school in your area. They will most likely offer services from the students and charge much less than at a regular chiropractors office. Don't wear too much clothing when you go. Something loose and comfortable would be best. Just remember to relax. It doesn't help them relax if you seem nervous as well.
