Description of service
This is the price for each session at a chiropractic school. Each time, I was seen by a student in training, with an instructor supervising the adjustment. The student chiropractor typically examined me which took about 20 minutes, then wrote down and explained to me what he was going to do, then went to tell his supervising instructor what his plan was for the adjustment, then came back and adjusted me. Sometimes he would have me lying down and sometimes sitting up. Occasionally he would teach me stretches as well.
Review of Service
It really depended on which student chiropractor you got. The one I had was still very tentative and nervous. He also had very cold hands! I think he was one of the newer students who had not had a lot of practice, but that is the risk you run when getting any sort of professional treatment at a school. My only big complaint is the time is took sometimes for them to go and wait for their supervisor to approve the adjustments. That took a long long time and Ithink they should have had more supervisors.
Tips
Many chiropractic schools will use a sliding scale to figure out rates, so don't be afraid to ask about that!
