the Price of Treatment at a Chiropractic School

I had an adjustment by a student. The price was on a sliding scale. I didn't have to prove how much money I made though, just fill a form out.

This was my first time having a chiropractic adjustment and I definitely wish I'd gone to a professional the first time. The student who worked on me was a relatively new to working on live people and even though I was really nervous I think he was even more nervous! He didn't explain at all what he was doing and didn't attempt to make me feel more comfortable at all. A few times he had to go to an intercom system on the wall and ask questions to another doctor. I felt like maybe someone should have been supervising him. I did feel a lot better afterward so it wasn't all bad.

I would say if you're going to go to a school see if you can ask for someone who was more experience as opposed to less experience. Although this wasn't great it was a lot cheaper than a professional would have been and maybe with another student the decrease in service might have been worth the decrease in price.
