Description of service
I hired a freelance computer repairman to come to my home and fix some computer problems I was having. He charged $125 per hour. It ended up taking about 1 1/2 hours but he only charged me for one hour.
Review of Service
My computer was running incredibly slow so I got a computer guru to come over and take a look. Apparently my computer was infected with several viruses that were causing it run very slow. He cleared the viruses out and installed some virus scanning software. I thought I had enough installed but I guess I needed more protection. He found a free program for me that works really well. It took quite a long time to install so he ended up being at my house for about an hour and a half. However, while it was installing and then scanning he was outside on the phone with another client so he did not charge me for the extra time it took. He was very professional and courteous. Definitely worth the money.
Tips
If you go with a freelance person make sure you can verify their credentials somehow as there is usually little to no recourse if an individual does not meet your expectations.
