Description of service
When our computer died in January, we had no choice but to call a repair person to fix it. It was vital that we got it back up and running because the kids both had projects due in the next month and we needed our computer. The place I called was wonderful and sent a person out to our house. We got the name in the local newspaper, so we had a coupon.
The normal rate for the service was $65, but we paid $50 per hour because of the coupon we had. He had the computer back up and running in about 2 hours. Our total fee was $100, as they do not charge for partial hours.
Review of Service
The person they sent to the house was well dressed and very professional. He got right to the problem and began fixing it within minutes. He had no problem answering all of our questions and showing us what to do in the future to prevent the same thing from happening.
They took cash, checks, and credit cards, so it was easy to find a way to pay for the service. We really did learn a lot from this young man. He will be called again if we need help in the future.
Tips
If you need computer services, it is important that you ask your friends and neighbors for a referral. You can also call around to various computer places in your area and see what services they offer and how much you will have to pay. Make sure that you know if it is an hourly rate or an overall rate. You may not know a bunch about computers, but try to make sure that they are certified or have some kind of knowledge.
