Description of service
I had a technician from a local computer service, repair, and installation shop come out to my home on June 17, 2006 to repair my very much broken Dell PC. Unfortunately, the power supply burned up, the comp had a trojan and a virus, and wouldn't turn on. When it did turn on it was EXTREMELY slow. also it was an older computer so it was very heavy and at the time i had a broken leg so i couldnt go anywhere, so i hired them to come out and help me!
i paid $300 for labor, $175 for parts and a $20 tip
Review of Service
The technican came out within 24 hours and diagnosed the problem. He removed the virus and the trojan that was on my comp, was able to save all the data, and replaced the power supply. Luckily no data was lost in the process. I was very happy with their service, and unfortunately after they fixed it, lightning struck and blew the power supply again on my comp and they came to my house a second time and only charged me 50% of what the power supply cost
Tips
its very expensive to have them come out to ur house for repairs. if you can afford it or dont have any other choice do it, but otherwise its better to go to a store and drop ur computer off to have it repaired
