Description of service
This was the copay to see a fertility doctor. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant again after having one son. We were not having any luck, so we decided to see a fertility doctor. Since I was still breastfeeding our son, she determined I needed a prescription in order to ovulate and get pregnant. Our insurance covered seeing the doctor, so all we paid for was an office visit and a prescription. The office visit was fifteen dollars and the prescription cost sixty dollars.
Review of Service
The doctor was very knowledgeable and understanding of our situation. She had treated many other patients in the same type of situation we were in and really knew how to ease my worries. I had no complaints about her service, she is a great doctor. I feel it was a really great value for the price, since our insurance covered the office visit. The prescription however, was a bit on the expensive side.
Tips
I would tell anyone seeking a fertility doctor to really do their research and find a reputable doctor that you are comfortable with. The only thing I wish I had known was that my obgyn doctor could have done the same thing that the fertility doctor did and I would not have had to see a new doctor.
