Description of service
We completed sperm testing, bloodwork for thyroid and diabetes, and 2 months' worth of treatment. The cost of the Clomid was only $27 per month. We also had about 6 internal ultrasounds. We did not use trigger shots. The only other drug we used was one month of Provera. Once I got to the time of the month around ovulation, I had a doctor's visit and internal ultrasound every other day to check my follicles.
Review of Service
Absolutely wonderful. We conceived in our second month of treatment. The doctors explained everything in detail, explained my condition, were very private and confidential when discussing things with us. When I got my positive home pregnancy test, they had me come in within that hour to confirm with a blood test.
Tips
Check with your insurance company to see what is covered. Some companies will cover the diagnosis, but not the treatment. The fertility specialists know how to code things on the billing form so that it is covered. The only thing not covered by my insurance ended up being the Clomid, which was no big deal at all. I had absolutely no fights from the insurance company. They usually fight me over everything, including my subsequent c-section.
