I had chips on the front surface of my two front teeth repaired via tooth bonding. The dentist was unsure if the bonding would hold. He described how he would use a plastic resin to form and mold to the previous shape and color of my teeth prior to my accident and then completed the procedure.

The dentist was very knowledgeable and shared with me step by step what he would do when repairing my two front teeth. The procedure was painless and not all that unpleasant. After preping the surface of my two teeth the dentist applied the resinous material and shaped it to conform to the previous shape of my teeth prior to my accident as well as matching the color of the other teeth. Then the material seemed to be heated to finish the process. In all the process took a little more than an hour. I can say without hesitation that this was a procedure well worth the expense as I now have my smile back just like new.
Tips
I have heard from friends and family that the price for such procedures varys by Dentist. I would shop around and ask for quotes on the dental work before proceeding as it never hurts to save money.
