the Price of Digital Cable TV

I have digital cable with on demand which also includes HBO SHOWTIME and CINEMAX in my package. They also offer alot of HD channels but I don't have an HD TV so that part doesn't really help me. The package I have includes phone and cable internet also so all together I pay about $125 a month and I am locked in for 2 years.

So far the service has been pretty good. There are 2 channels that don't entirely work all to well, but I don't really watch these channels anyway so I haven't bothered to actually call and try and see if they could be fixed. The on demand feature is really nice, they offer a section that has network shows on it so if you missed a recent episode you can go back and find it. This feature is nice for those of us who don't have the DVR function.

The DVR is the only problem I really had with the cable company itself, when I intially signed up for this deal they never asked me if I wanted a DVR box or not. Silly me who never had all this fancy cable before just assumed that all the boxes were DVR capable, it wasn't untill they came and installed it that I found out that it wasn't a DVR box so I just wish the customer service people had specified that for us cable inept people.

An other great feature with this package is the unlimited HBO,CINEMAX,and SHOWTIME. They don't always have the best movies but you can always find something interesting to watch. If you can't find anything you still have the option to rent a movie for a 24 hour period and these movies are generally the newer ones out. They also offer many music channels and alot of music videos.

Look around for the best options, there are alot to choose from! Watch out for the contracts too, alot of times you can only get a certain price if you lock in for a certain amount of time and then after that time is up the price will go up. It works for some people and not others so just be sure what you are getting into!
