the Cost of Pet Adoption Fees for Dogs

My little sister had been wanting a dog for quite some time so I decided to get her one for Christmas. I wasn't sure where to go but I knew that I wanted to get the perfect dog and make this year really special for her. I saw in the classifieds that a store in my area had a non-profit adoption agency come in every Saturday and the public could come in and adopt rescued animals so I decided to check it out.

All the animals at the store were just adorable, it was hard to pick one. But they had all the dogs in a fenced in area where they could play with each other. And they had volunteers playing with the dogs so it was nice to see how they reacted to people. There was one particular dog however who kept going up to the side of the fence where some kids were standing. They would pet him and he would just sit there, so sweet. I decided that's the one I wanted. I had to fill out some adoption papers and pay a fee, but the fee included all the dog's up-to-date shots and some coupons off some dog products. I think I also got a coupon for a free grooming session.

Needless to say, my sister loved the dog. I would suggest if you are looking into adopting a dog go to a center where you can see how they react to other people and see how they are around other dogs and animals. That way you can see which one would be a good fit for your family.
