Review of Service
The shelter I adopted my dog from was wonderful to work with. They had a book of available dogs, and I was able to look at as many as I wanted without feeling pressured to make a decision. I took one look at a Jack Russell Terrier and knew it was meant to be. The shelter asks you to greet the dog outside since it's less stressful, so I sat down and she came over an fell asleep in my lap..I was hooked! The shelter was amazing at getting her paperwork done, and I was able to take her home the next day! They gave me a crate, two leashes and two collars, a harness and a bag of food. I've gone back several times letting them know she either chewed through one of the leashes or that the harness didn't fit, and they gave me a new one right away. I would recommend adopting an animal to anyone.
Tips
Definetly do your research on a breed before you go looking for a dog. Also, look into what is required in the care of an animal before you get yourself into something you can't handle.
