After getting our house my husband and I decided to get a puppy for our son. We decided to adopt one for him, instead of buying one from a breeder. So we adopted a 8 week old beagle mix pup which cost up a little over 100.00 dollars. We do however get a rebate when we get the pup fixed.
Review of Service
When we went to adopt a dog we did not know that adoption fees were so high. Once my son found the puppy though he fell in love and the fee was no longer taken into consideration. The facility was really clean where we got it, which is always a concern of mine. Just about each dog was in a cage of there own, however the puppies were together. I was very happy with the fact they had also given the puppies their first shots. I probably would buy from a breeder next time though for another 100.00 I could of bought a AKC beagle.
Tips
If you are looking to get a puppy look around. If you can't afford the price to adopt a dog from the shelter you may want to post an ad. People would much rather give a puppy away rather than take them to the pound. You may also want to consider buying from a breeder that way you can be sure of the dog you are getting.
