Description of service
We adopted an older dog, a german shepard, last year from the shelter in town for $52 total. I had thought adoption was free, but I didn't mind paying this amount as it went to a good cause, and the price is far less than what a puppy from a breeder would cost. Besides that, I don't want to support puppy mills or anything like that, so adoption is a great way to go.
Review of Service
We couldn't be happier with Milo. He is a wonderful dog and it was hard to pick just one wondering if the others would get lucky and go to good homes too. The only bad thing is that you are limited to the breeds they have available, and the ages they have at the time. But a dog of every age is a wonderful addition to the family. The nice thing is that he is already fixed so we don't have to worry about that.
Tips
Consider going with a dog that is older, if you find one that you relate well with, since it's easier to find homes for puppies than it is for older dogs (who can deny a puppy face?), but older dogs are just as wonderful as puppies, without all the hassle of potty training.
