Description of service
I paid for the dsl modem that connects the telephone line to the computer. I also paid for the company to activate my telephone line so that I can receive DSL Internet. I also paid for customer support in activating the DSL Internet, and the costumer support I receive until today! I also had the installation CD so the software is also on my computer.
Review of Service
It took me a month from ordering the Internet to receiving the Internet. I was excited to receive it, but it was somewhat difficult to set it up to my computer and make my computer access the Internet. I was on the phone with customer support for about 3 hours. I do like this service, though, because I do not have a landline, and I am still able to access the Internet. Many other services that I researched wanted me to have a landline telephone.
Tips
Patience is the key between ordering the Internet and actually being able to connect to the Internet. I also had to take deep breaths when communicating to customer service because it was frustrating setting up the Internet manually. It dis save me more money and time than having the company come to my house. I do have to say, though, that costumer service was extremely useful and helpful. Oh yes, I still have the same Internet provider, so even today it was a good financial deal for me.
