Description of service
The Installation was free, but the modem was $50 (free after rebate). The installation also took place in about three days after the order was placed, since I got both phone service and DSL service the installation for both took place on the same day. The DSL service was actually the middle of the road performace wise, so consider it basic service.
Review of Service
Over all the technicians that arrived were great, they were punctual (they even called about 30 minutes in advance so as to remind me of the appointment). They appeared to know what they were doing, at least they got the service up inside of 45 minutes. It took about another 30 minutes to get the Internet up, so all in all it went very well. For the price that I pay monthly for the service, it was great. I didn't even get a contract to have to adhere to, I can terminate at any time. I didn't like having to buy a modem, but that had a rebate which covered its cost. There were some specials available on the companies web site, but as I had no phone and no internet I couldn't order the service from the web site.
Tips
Find out if the company has an online site for ordering service, you may actually get a better deal that way. I ended up missing out on over $100 worth of free hardware by not signing up over the internet.
