Description of service
While shopping at my local grocery store I came across one of the new self service kiosks. It was very easy to use. You insert your credit card, get a list of movies available, select the movie. When you return the movie, it is automatically charged to your credit card for the number of days that you have the movie out. Everything is self service and there is no human to contact.
Review of Service
While the self service kiosks were quick and easy to use, due to the nature of them, there is only a very limited selection of titles available. While if you want a popular new release, it might be in stock, if it is a classic or something less mainstream, then you might be better off going to a regular video store. I would imagine also that there are a very limited quantity of each title available, just due to the size of the kiosk, and the fact that my first two choices were out of stock.
Tips
Be sure to take note of the return by time in order to not get charged for an extra day. Also be sure to have a lot of options, in order to make sure that you get a movie, as the choice is very limited.
