Description of service
You put in your email address and a credit card and they rent you DVDs from a vending machine. It is so simple and straightforward. They have a list of the movies available in that machine, so all you have to do is select the one you want and it is dispensed to you. When you return it, you just slip it into the kiosk and you are done. There is no membership required and no long lines waiting to check out. They have a limited number of movies, but we were able to find quite a few new releases that we would like to see. I think they update the selection pretty regularly.
Review of Service
The DVD kiosk is an ingenious plan for people who are on vacation and need some down time with the kids. We rented from a kiosk outside the grocery store near our condo rental where we purchased our vacation food. It was very convenient to our situation for several reasons. For one thing there was no big chain movie rental place around and we did not want to get a membership to the local place for one or two movies. It was quick in and out and although they did not have oldies or anything obscure, they had a good selection for all ages.
Tips
Make sure you keep track of when you got the movie. You pay $1 for each 24 hour period, so if you keep it a second night, that is an extra dollar charged to your credit card. If you get movies on consecutive days, that can get confusing.
