Review of Service
I love using DVD rental kiosks. The one I usually use has new releases out every tuesday (sometimes Sundays depending on the movie release date), and you can reserve the movie online with a credit card. When you arrive at the kiosk, you generally swipe your credit card and it spits out the movies you reserved. It is a great way to get the new release movies, especially if you can't run down to the video store first thing tuesday morning to get the movies you want to see. As long as you get fairly new movies, you should be able to watch them without issues. Kids movies, and movies that have been out for a few weeks usually end up with a lot of scratches in them so they skip. Otherwise, it is a great, inexpensive way to be able to rent movies. As long as they are returned by seven p.m. the following day, you are not charged for an additional day.
Tips
If there is a movie you want to see, be sure to try to catch it on the day it is released. Most new releases come out on Tuesdays, so if you log on to the internet on Tuesday mornings, you can usually reserve the movie online at a certain location close to you. You then have about twenty four hours to pick it up. Don't wait more than a few weeks to rent a particular movie, otherwise you will be taking your chances with a scratched disc that may not play.
