This is a great way to rent a video for the kids for one day. You have over 24 hours to watch the movie and return it by 9:00 PM the next night - so if you get it in the afternoon - you have that night or the next night to watch it with no extra charges. All you have to do is sign up and the service I used has an email update that tells you what new releases it has and when they are coming out each month. If you don't turn it in on time, you just pay for another day. For our family, this is a better deal than going to most video stores which charge 4 times the price since we only want to watch the movie once.

Using the kiosk outside the grocery store is very convenient for picking out movies and for dropping them back off. The quality of service is quicker than the local video store and you are in and out and on your way home in record time. The main drawback is that they have a limited selection. We have gone there only to find that the movie we wanted was not listed. Sometimes it looks like they have mostly R rated and G rated movies and only a few choices in between. For our family we usually want something PG or PG-13 to interest the whole family. However even with these limitations, this is the best deal around.

The kiosk we have used sends email updates for new releases so you can reserve the movie you want, for the date you want it. They also have special promotions that you receive via email, like free Wednesday!
