Description of service
This winter, I paid a nutritionist to help me formulate a diet plan. I paid this person 50 dollars a hour. I met with her two hours a week for a total of eight weeks. She helped me to formulate a healthy diet and checked in with me to discuss the plans and any problems I was having following it. I did not have to pay for any additional materials. This was not a program that involved paying for food. I bought and ate my own food in a manner consistent with the plan she had devised for me. I did not pay her a gratuity, as I felt that it was unnecessary and that the service was already quite expensive.
Review of Service
The nutritionist was very helpful. First of all, she helped me make a very nutritional diet plan keeping in mine my food likes and dislikes. She did not ask me to make a radical change but rather improve on what I was already doing. It was helpful meeting with her at the beginning and end of the week so I could track my progress and adjust the plan as needed. It was helpful just having someone being aware of the change that I was making; it helped me to make more of a commitment.
Tips
The nutritionist I hired had a degree in this field, and I strongly recommend only hiring someone to provide this service if they too can provide proof of education.
