the Price of Engagement Portraits

When my brother recently got engaged to his long time girlfriend, my wife and I wanted to get them an engagement gift that would not wind up on a shelf in a closet somewhere, so we decided to pay for their engagement photographs. The price above included a two hour session, where photographs were taken both in the studio, with a variety of backgrounds, and also at a local park. The future bride and groom took several photos in different poses with each backdrop. Within a week, the photographer had posted them online for them to see, which allowed them to pick out the photos for their package, which has three 8x10s, 6 5x7s and 64 wallet sized photos.

The photographer was very professional, and everything was done on time without any issues. He did a good job during the session providing a number of backgrounds, and suggesting a variety of poses for the couple, which led to them getting a number of great shots, some of which were more non traditional poses that did a great job capturing their personalities.

The main thing to remember is that these services do not include hair, makeup, or wardrobe, so it is important to take time to consider these items before going to the studio.
