the Price of Engagement Portraits

We visited the studio a few times prior to actually shooting to decide where we wanted to shoot, to settle some things with the photographer, and to get advice on what to wear or bring. We decided to shoot in the studio, so on shooting day, we brought our wardrobes in and started doing the photo session. Throughout, the photographer gave us advice on how to position ourselves to be most photogenic or get the best light. A week after the photo session, we came in to see our proofs on the computer and decide which ones we wanted and what kinds of prints we wanted. About three weeks after we placed our order, the prints came in.

The studio was an extremely nice facility, which is why we decided to shoot there. We wanted a flawless look, and I think the environment was able to provide that. Our photographer wasn't the most genial person ever, but she was very skilled and very knowledgable - I felt like the tips she gave us for posing in our own pictures will help me in taking any pictures I want to take in the future. The service was quite fast, too. I didn't expect to get my proofs or prints as quickly as I did.

We took a chance on this photographer, without any recommendations, but we were able to see her work and consult with her. Definitely look at their work, I think it's the best judge of what they'll be able to do for you.
