Description of service
The fee we paid was to include the studio sitting fee and the portraits we chose to have printed within the package specifications. We got 2 8x10 portraits, unframed and 4 5x7 portraits, unframed. They also threw in all the proofs which were printed at a size of about 3x4, just a bit bigger than wallet size. We did not choose to add any frames or display boards since these seemed over priced. They also sent the photo we specified to the local paper for the announcement, which was the point of getting the photos taken professionally in the first place.
Review of Service
We settled into a good relationship with our photographer pretty early on. There was a mix up about the location of the sitting and she was very flexible with us. She ended up doing a sitting at a local park and a couple of poses at the studio to make it work for us. Normally they would charge more for that, but because it was due to a mix up, they did not charge the additional fee. That impressed us. The photographer was understanding and helped us relax and enjoy the time together. The photos we received were just what we were looking for and made us look better than we do in real life!
Tips
Make sure to call and confirm the details of the price, and sitting appointment. That call would have saved us a bit of hassle on the day of the photo session.
