the Price of Engagement Portraits

We got engaged in July of 2008. Since our wedding was approaching we decided to have engagement photos takes so that we could send a picture out with our wedding invitations. We had already hired someone for our wedding day photos so we decided to ask the photographer to take our engagement photos as well.

We used an independent photographer who we also hired to take our wedding day pictures. He selected a location in a development within our community. We met the photog in the early afternoon. He decided to take various shots around the lake and the clubhouse. It was a real nice setting and we had hoped to get at least 4 good shots. Our photographer was very studious. He had used the location before so he knew the exact shots and angles to use to take advantage of the setting. The rep also had all of the equipment that was needed to fully take advantage of this sunny day. I was impressed with his general knowledge and attention to the shot details. Even though the session was a little bit longer than i thought was required. Once we received the finished photos we were very happy with the outcome. The cost was minimal and the rep included the charges in our overall wedding bill.
