the Price of Grocery Delivery from Local Store

The $50 included the delivery of $100 worth of groceries. My local store include the tip in the delivery fee. I felt that it was pretty astronomial seeing as the cost of delivery was half the price of the actual groceries. It was during a snow storm so I didn't feel too bad paying that price.

The young man who came to deliver my groceries was very helpful and made sure I knew exactly what I ordered. He also gave me some recipes that I could prepare with the items that I bought. $50 was expensive and I normally wouldn't pay that much for such a simple task, but it was extremely snowy and my car was in the shop for the week so I felt like I was justified in paying this high price for delivery. The young man showed up at my door within 10 minutes of when they said and he brought in every bag. The only thing he didn't do is put it away, but that's because he couldn't possible know where everything goes. I would only use the service again if I was in a dire situation such as I was. Overall a pricey, but great service.

Only use it if absolutely necessary, otherwise just get your own groceries. If you have lots of money, I say why not.
