Description of service
I ordered home grocery delivery for my mother recovering for surgery. Ordered from national chain store. Prices are the same as in store prices but the minimum amount needed for order is at least $50.00
Review of Service
I setup home grocery delivery at a local national chain grocery store. My mother recently had surgery and on my visit thought that home delivery would be the best service for food pickup. I went in store but the service is also available on line. You can select from any in store item. Items are prices the same as in the store. There is a $50.00 minimum per delivery order. The store will fill you list. Bag the items then send them out to your home address with their delivery service. Most are same day delivery if you place your order withing the alloted time frames. If you have a specific generic or product request just let them know on ordering. If you just give a general term like. "Instant rice." They will fill the product order with the national brand item. So if you wanted Mahatna or another product name you would need to specify it on ordering. Items were packed and in their normal condition upon delivery.
Tips
Service is good for people who are home bound or have no transportation to the store. It is not really appropriate for just a few items. Also be sure you check out the ordering cut off times. Some ordering ends mid day so if you need to get some items in a fix you might be better served to stop in the market.
