the Cost of Bicycle Repair

This service is for flat tire repair for my son's twenty inch bicycle. We bought the innertube and tire at a local bike repair shop for $4.99. The installation was was a flat fee of $25.00. We drove my son's bike down to the shop, and dropped the bike off.

This service was excellent. We dropped the bike off at about noon and we were treated really well. They took down our information and took the bike into their back room and told us that it should be fixed in about a half hour. There was a fast food resturant near by so we went and grabbed something for lunch. We came back to the shop in thirty minutes, just as they stated, and the bike was ready. They even took the time to wash and buff the frame and the rims. It looked brand new again. I happily paid the $29.99 for the excellent service and left a very happy man.

I found out later that $29.99 is a lot to have to pay to get an inner tube replaced. I'm not very good at fixing things, so I didn't mind to hire someone else to do the dirty work. You may be able to replace it yourself, i've been told it's very easy.
